Fun Facts

Currently there are fifteen (15) US women ranked in the top 100 in the world. Seven (7) of these women (47%) have played in our tournament since its inaugural year in 2019.
Players who have competed in our tournament were in the finals in three (3) of the four (4) main women’s events at the 2022 US OPEN.
The tournament is financially independent of Bonita Bay Club with a positive balance sheet and does not require financial resources from the club. Tournament costs are covered entirely by Sponsor’s Fees, Skybox and General Admission Ticket Sales. It costs about $300,000 to run the tournament in first class fashion, which is of course the Bonita Bay Club way!
There are a total of 32 players in our Singles Main Draw and 16 doubles teams.
The player entry deadline to complete in our tournament is April 14^th and the deadline to withdraw is April 19_^th. We will know who will be playing in the Main Draw (except qualifiers) by April 25^th.
There are a total of 32 additional players who enter the Qualifying Round who are competing for Eight (8) positions in the Main Draw.
The Qualifying Rounds are Monday, April 29^th and Tuesday, April 30^th. Main Draw play begins in the afternoon on Tuesday, April 30^th once the Qualifying Rounds have been completed.
